FAQ

How does it work?
To get started, request a quote and let us know what you’re interested in and for which dates. We’ll send you a quote, which you can pay online, and then ship out your item(s). When you’re all done just pack the gear up in the same box, attach the sticky-backed, prepaid label, and take it to a FedEx Store (get a receipt!). Assuming there’s no damage or missing items, you’re all done! (NOTE: first time renters will need to call us so we can get your credit card info to hold on-file.)

When does my rental begin?
The rental starts the day the carrier delivers or tries to deliver your package for the first time.

When does my rental end?
Your rental ends the day you ship the equipment back to us.

Is there a minimum rental period?
Yes, there is a 3-day minimum for all equipment, unless it's picked up and returned locally. 

Do the daily rental rates include shipping?
No.

Are delivery times guaranteed?
No. We recommend scheduling your equipment to arrive 1-2 days before when you absolutely have to have it. Upgrading to 2-day or overnight delivery is also an option.

What time of day will it arrive?
We don't know, nor do we have any control over this; whenever FedEx Ground delivers to your given address. If you upgrade to 2-day or overnight, then delivery times can be set.

Is signature required?
Yes.

Where do you ship?
We ship to all 50 states.

Do you ship internationally?
No.

Do you ship to PO Boxes?
No.

Do you permit rental extensions?
Yes, if we have availability to extend it. Email us.

Am I permitted to take the equipment outside of the USA?
Yes. You have to ship the items back to us from within the USA though.

Do you charge a deposit?
Generally no, but sometimes we do require it.

Do I need insurance to rent from you?
No.

What forms of payment do you accept on orders?
We accept most credit cards.

When is my credit card charged?
We charge your card when your rental is finalized.

How do I cancel my order?
If you need to cancel your order, call or email us and let us know. 48-hour notice must be given before your rental is due to ship in order to get a refund.

Do you charge late fees?
Yes. We determine if you owe a late fee based on the time stamp of the return shipment. Our late fees are $50 per day OR 1/4 of the total rental amount per day, whichever is greater.

Do you refund or give store credit if I return the rental gear early?
If your rental period is at least 10 days, and if you return the equipment at least 5 days early, we will issue you a rental credit for the time remaining. Please note that this return credit can only be used towards a future rental and not a cash refund. Items that are returned with less than 5 days remaining, or were originally rented for less than the minimum 10 days, are not eligible for any rental credit

What if I leave film in the camera when it's returned?

Let us know immediately if you realize you left film in the camera after shipping it back, and we’ll do everything we can to get it back to you. Any return shipping would be billed to your credit card that’s on file.o ship the items back to us from within the USA though.
